Role Summary
Our client (a very successful provider of Independent Medical Education – IME) is looking for a commercially minded Partnerships Success Manager (Account Manager / Senior Account Manager) to join their growing Business Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech organisations that support high-quality, independent medical education through sponsorships and grants.
The Role
You’ll own and nurture partner relationships across the full sponsorship lifecycle – ensuring clear, ongoing value while identifying opportunities to deepen and expand collaborations. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this role offers real scope to shape and build a Partnerships Success function as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow existing pharma & biotech partnerships
• Lead value-driven engagement across sponsorship lifecycles
• Drive renewals, upgrades, and expanded programme opportunities
• Collaborate the Publishing & Scientific teams to shape impactful educational initiatives
• Attend international medical congresses
• Use CRM tools to track engagement and inform growth strategy
What they are looking for:
• 3-5 years’ experience managing pharmaceutical or life sciences accounts
• Experience working with Medical Affairs / scientific stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
• Confidence engaging with scientific and educational concepts
• Collaborative, proactive and ownership driven mindset
Desirable
• Life sciences background
• Medical education / communications experience
• Existing pharma relationships
The role requires attendance at team meetings in London (please only apply if you are based in the UK AND are able to travel to London).
